Happy Blog Appreciation Day!
In honor of this hours-old tradition, I’m barbequing and drinking, just like on any other holiday. Or, here in Texas, just like on any other day.
Hosted by Neil at Citizen of the Month, Blog Appreciation Day gives us the chance to tell a blogger how much that blog means to us. The blog that I am especially appreciating today is…Little Puddle.

Flood was blogging one day, minding her own business, and pushed out Little Puddle after a brief but fruitful scrum with Mother Nature. Little Puddle’s blog was born. LP writes short stories and posts them to her blog. Very courageous. And, really, very good. Stop by and read a few of them. Leave a comment so she’ll know you were there. And, hey, link to her. Everybody can use a little linkage love, especially 12-year-olds who manage to write after their homework and before their bedtime.
Happy Blog Appreciation Day! Take pictures of the blogs you love and email them to their hosts with a note telling them why you care. It’s a feel-good, do-unto-others kind of day.
[This just in...Neil's picture of my blog allllll the way from California. Proof of location is hanging in the upper right hand corner.]
