What about one of them there private blogs?

If this were a different type of blog, I’d blog my weekend. In detail.

But, well, my date reads my blog. He admins my blog. Somehow, for some reason, I feel restricted by that. If you’re reading my stuff, say, on a Tuesday, and you’re thinking to yourself: I think she’s holding something back, it’s probably because, well, Q and I are trying very hard to keep off-blog as much as we can. He managed to write about my stripper skin, but that post was burning a hole in his pocket, he had to get it out. He left it up for a week.

Churlita has been writing on and off about her developing thing with Dateman. I love those posts. She should keep writing about it, but she has two teenagers to write about as well, and the posts about them are funny and well written. I won’t pester her to give me any more details than she wants to give me.

At GSR’s suggestion, I joined eMusic for, yes, more music. Playing around with it, I downloaded five KC & the Sunshine Band tunes. Boogie Shoes, Please Don’t Go, Get Down Tonight, That’s the Way (Uh-huh, uh-huh) I Like it (Uh-huh, uh-huh), and Shake Your Booty.

Once the program figured out I am old as dirt, it offered me Debby Boone. Yep, that’s right: You Light Up My . I played that song as first clarinet in my elementary school band. The year before Q was born. I was eleven. I downloaded the song, found the lyrics, and Little Man and I sang it at the tops of our lungs. We cannot sing. thought the apocalypse was here. While wailing, I imagined Q the egg being fertilized by the sperm and, nine months later, with me firmly implanted in seventh grade algebra, the baby being born looking for a blog to visit.

Taking a cue from Churlita’s date summations as opposed to Churlita giving lots of details, I will say: the weekend was nice. We laughed a lot. We visited a . Watched the draft. Saw a lot of basketball. Hated those Click-Clack Under Armour commercials. Loved the ESPN headquarters commercials. Decided that maybe I’ll start working out a little even though I hate to exercise. Decided we like each other.

Did I leave anything out?

[Turns out, I did leave something out: Dagromm's very thorough and very funny interview with Celebrate Woo-Woo is up on woo's blog. Speaking of Dags, Edgy Mama's interview with him is posted on his blog. Any more posted, yet? Anybody still waiting for their questions? I can totally send out a beat down for any dead beats.]
