Or it could be my 104° fever, which invariably appears a few days before any major trip.
When I was younger, I’d always get sick after the trip, beginning my habit of scheduling a few buffer days of work leave. Recently, I guess from the stress of arranging everything then worrying about it, I get sick right before. Jordan offered to drive if I’m not feeling well enough, so there we have it: the back-up plan.
What’s the saying? Anything that can go wrong has gone wrong, and we haven’t even backed out of the driveway. This means either we are setting sail on the Titanic II or since we are getting all of the glitches out of the way, this will be the best trip ever. Hoping for the second, will not be surprised if it’s the first.
Waiting for my Tylenol PM to kick in. I helped it along with alcohol, so I’m not sure what’s taking it so long. Perhaps it respects the blog long-form and would like for me to complete this post. Or: Ehren has a cold, too, and has been asking for extra lovin’. I can’t go to sleep until he does, but there is no harm in the Tylenol PM catnap until the real thing comes along.
