It’s the U.S. Labor Day holiday, and just like it’s always five o’clock somewhere, somebody somewhere is working, just not here.
Quick post just to say hi and to say I have lots of other stuff to talk about, but not the energy. Not the no-energy of the blues, I’m just plain old tired. Is that allowed? Do we always need a reason or a diagnosis behind our exhaustion cuz I haves none. I fired Comcast [cable Internet], and I have no faith Verizon [DSL] will be any better. One has continuous service outages and the other is as slow as the turtles say they are in the commercials. It’s been years since I’ve had to wait for a page or image download. Waiting makes me cranky.
In my Internet lag, meaning both the outage and waiting for pages to load, I am reading, so it is indeed always sunny in Philadelphia. Tomorrow, it’s back to work on the online job search, but until then, I’ve got books on my nightstand with ice cream on the side.
Is it Happy Labor Day? If it’s not Christmahanukwanzaakah, I never know what to say. Happy Monday on which you perhaps got to sleep past 5 am. How’s that?
