Following a link from Twitter, I found mombloggersclub, a Ning group for, yes, moms who blog. It took me only seconds to feel comfortable there, and you all know how I feel about groups and mommy blogs. With the exception of a few amateur self-promotions that don’t exactly flood my email box but that I wish wouldn’t mass email the entire group with their giveaways (ahem), I am quite impressed with the collection of blogs and resources (I especially like this one). I’ve gotten friend requests and group invites within the first few days, more than I have in a year on NaBloPoMo or similarly very large networking groups. The owner of the site, Jennifer James, is actively engaged and responsive and, from what I can tell, a smart cookie. I will stick with it until I get bored or heavily otherwise occupied.

If you have cute handwriting and know how to follow written instructions and Venus is aligned with Mars at the Sunday church picnic, Amanda will make you a free font of your own handwriting. I sent mine in last week. Waiting by the mailbox. Watch Q’s get picked instead of mine. His is cuter, I must admit.

TexInTheCity installed her new Woo Themes blog template from freefringes in her space Journey to Blissville. I’ve given away at least 20 themes since November, and she is the first to send me a link to the new duds.

    I love it! Awesome to expand the circle.

    I’m home sick from work today and just now woke up. It’s 9:49 here in Minnesota. And the first thought in my head this morning was: I wonder when Erica will find out that she got her new job.

    Positive thinking never hurts, right?

    Hugs!

      @Voix, positive thinking first thing in the morning is even better! Thank you sooo much. I hope to know something by the end of next week, but maybe two.

        @fringes,

        PLUS: I love the gay weddings ad. It’s fantastic.

          @Voix, and match.com has ads for its men seeking men and women seeking women personals. I added that one, too. I love unrestricted love.

            @fringes, I would totally sign up for one of the dating sites but they never have a checkbox for “married.”

    Stopped by from MBC. I like bologna on wheat with frito’s mashed on it, no mayo. But tuna is good too.

      @Motpg, once I figured out what in the world you were talking about, I couldn’t stop giggling. Welcome to the fringe, and your sandwich has been emailed!
