So yesterday, I wrote a little, thanks for reading. This 15th year will be the hardest for me, and I am working through it a day at a time. I’ll try to remember to flag those certain posts so the glassy-eyed among you can skip this blog entirely on those days and head straight to Dooce as though she is half as interesting (she’s not).
Before my break down, I was cruising through my template site looking for a layout I could modify with these textures I had on my hard drive. Then it occurred to me I could modify the one I’m using now since I really like it. Well, not so much the sidebar. I kinda hate the subheaders and the boring layout. But I like several other things about it, just needing to get rid of that dark wood motif. This design very closely matches my personality although I feel more yellow than purple these days. Yellow designs on personal Web sites are a little too bright, so I compromised with myself.
I’m a little late posting today. I usually write these at night, then schedule the posting for 00:00, but I was gathering every piece of work clothing I own (still no start date) for the dry cleaners and alterations shop. I am finally six lbs off my normal weight and none of my larger pants fit. I refuse to buy replacements because there are so many other good things in my upcoming budget that we need. Ten bucks for alterations is better than fifty for a new pair. I’m late in posting also because I had a late night date with my h.b.b. Praying that our Valentine’s weekend involves more than two iPhones and an Internet connection.
At 1o months, Baby Ehren is walking. Can you believe I’ve taken no photos or video? The newness has finally worn off, and he’s made his way to being kid #3, poor thing.
