fringe friday fellowship—was unemployment all that bad edition

5am time check

Getting a move on at 5am isn’t as bad as you would think.

Especially since I’ve been training for it since the day Ehren came home from the hospital nearly 11 months ago. The major difference is showering, getting dressed and driving my car everyday—90 minutes each way. This has been the longest week of my life with the exception of a few other longer weeks of my life.

Our love and stuff group therapy discussion went well for a first try. , it went well for any try cuz we ended up talking about sex moves and mobile bj’s (bjs?) My readers either have fairly healthy sex lives or the ones who cry themselves to sleep at night stayed quiet. Don’t do that. We really are here to help. You can read through my archives and feel better about your entire life in one afternoon. We are kindred spirits.

New commenters this week(s)! I went to high school with creolegirl. Hooked up with Christine and Dory on Twitter. My first ever blog visitor Betty comes and goes, which tells me he misses my humming Bridge Over Troubled Water and my art project requests. Q makes my heart pound any time he stops by.

Have I mentioned my clean kitchen? And it’s D-32 for Ehren’s 1st birthday! I’m thinking about giving his curly ‘fro a bit of a trim. Jon Alex has started standing up to a band of bullies in his class, on the playground and on the bus. Jordan has fully recovered from being really sick for the first time in 10 years, and I thought she was gonna die only once. Good thing we were at my mom’s for the night. D-10 for fringes’s birthday.

News and other announcements in comments…

First I have to say that “This has been the longest week of my life with the exception of a few other longer weeks of my life.” Just had me rolling. I don’t know why, but it hit me funny.
And seriously? 90 minutes each way to work? I solemnly swear to quit bitching about the 20 min. I have each way. I like to bitch about it b/c I live in BFE and travel a dirt road or two to work and when it snows the drifts make it impossible to differentiate between the road and the fields. But, I’ll take my 20 and STFU, b/c it could be worse:)
Clean kitchen? A step ahead of me. Guess I better don my wings and make like the dish fairy.

@Christine, I timed the drive this morning. It’s 60 minutes going and 90 minutes getting back home. I must really like this job, plus my manager is like some cyborg composite of perfect managers. I’m still having nightmares about the mgr from my 20-min commute job.

90 mins each way? Please tell me you have XM and don’t have to listen to lousy Houston radio. Oh wait, you have the mother of all iPods! Nevermind. lol

@Tex In The City, I have about a month before I get tired of my 5000 songs. I can always download more, but I am aching for satellite radio.
