I don’t think the theme I was using was compatible with the current version of WordPress, and the internal errors were becoming more common than an actual page load. Woo Themes has been an important contributor to WordPress 3.0 which is coming out in May, and Dream Template appeared uninterested in upgrading its themes, so it’s back to Woo Themes for me. I’ll try to modify this theme to match my personality like I altered the other one. Do you feel as though you’re drowning? Then I’m halfway there. Gotta fix the ad space, and I’m all over my three-column footer. Yes, I know my Flickr photos haven’t been updated since 1969.
I visited my sister in her new house and drove to see a friend and her family this weekend. What is it with all this getting out of the house lately? First a daily trip to an office with real-live grownups, then weekend jaunts for kaffeeklatches. Holy cow, I even went to a bookstore with an attached Starbucks. The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks is an amazing narrative. My white chocolate mocha extra hot wasn’t half bad, either. The kids each got a copy of Percy Jackson: The Lightning Thief, Jon Alex in paperback, Jordan in audio. She reads JA’s book as she listens to the CDs in the car. I feel like I’m in junior high all over again, and I’m loving it. Not to be forgotten, Ehren bought a board book. He wasn’t feeling well this weekend, so he’ll eat it later.
I do sort of feel like I’m drowning. I have to say that I like the new layout so far. I always enjoy it when people switch things up at their blogs…keeps me on my toes. Like, ‘where the hell am I?’
