I opened my blog yesterday so I could answer the four comments waiting for me.
An ad from DreamTemplates was in my sidebar ad rotation, which reminded me I’ve been meaning to find another blog theme since the hated comment crown from Royalle couldn’t be changed without a time commitment neither Q nor I have right now for design elements, then eight hours later, I was fairly satisfied with an all day experimentation with Digital Farm, the template you’re now viewing in either horror or resignation.
As of this writing, I was considering publishing this post early because I still had comments to answer, a baby to pick up 45 minutes in the opposite direction of Jordan’s baseball practice, baseball practice to speed to, cops to scan the streets for, then kids to yell at once we all walked in the door together around 8 p.m. No telling if I was gonna have a chance to open my laptop after all that. Then I remembered the post scheduler, so midnight publishing it is.
Day 10 of 31DBBB calls for something like creating a monitoring alert for blogs in my niche. I’ve decided this week I am nicheless. Really, whose life even comes close? You still thinking? Don’t bother.
Some of the post photos in this new theme will look misaligned and run into the sidebar because the default width was for the Royalle template that had wider post columns. I tried looking for a plug-in or a hack to perform a bulk image resizing. So far, unsuccessful. So don’t click around the archives too much until I can manually resize or find a fairy blogmother with a solution.
It is crazy how easily distracted I can get.
Happy Friday, happy pay day to those who celebrate it.
Fellowship with me in comments…
if I declare myself to be “nicheless” too, have we just formed a new niche? Always enjoy your realness in world full of blogging kissups. Have a great weekend!

Thanks, Nolan! My “realness” sometimes gets me in trouble, but it’s to be expected, I guess. Have a good one!
I think I envy you. There’s a kind of freedom from being nichless, but there’s also a huge creative blessing on you that you don’t need a focus or direction to take your writing that the rest of us poor mortals get from our niche.
PS – love the new theme. It looks great.

31DBBB has hijacked my blog, alienating my regular readers, but bringing a discipline to my writing that I may not have had.
It wasn’t necessarily missing focus or direction since it has always been a daily writing exercise with no grander promise, but I am certainly open to receiving creative blessings. That sounds awesome.
Thanks for complimenting the new theme. It was a serious project. Waiting now on my new header!
My name is not Kevin and I do not do the 31DBBB. And I am not a good liar, but I so enjoy the nicheless blogs.

The Pinocchio caught my eye on sxc.hu. It’s not a true representation of all bloggers. Ha.
Fly Free! My blog is stuck in the same niche my life is so it has no where else to go. I like this template, it’s relaxing.

Thanks! Relaxing is a very good word for it. It’s also more organized on the front end than the other one was. I like it, too.
Happy pay day indeed! And not a moment too soon…

Can you believe my check is gone already? It was in my account less than 12 hours! Argh…
Relaxing is good. I like it! I’m thinking of a re-do my self. Must call on my blog guru and get on her list….

Blog gurus are awesome!
