Which ain’t easy since blogging was never all that sexy to begin with. You know it’s true.
What I would like to bring back, though, is some of the camaraderie. Without the cliques.
The openness without the suspicion.
The blog post without an affiliate link every other sentence.
Good old-fashioned storytelling for the sake of storytelling without worrying if a rep from Target is lurking waiting with a million-dollar contract if you tell the story just right of your kid sitting up for the first time in his Graco Lauren Classic convertible crib by La Jobi and pooping in his Tinkle-For-Me potty.
Here’s where the love comes in.
Please link to a blog post or two that you feel was underappreciated this week on the Interwebs. Something that touched you, made you LOL, caused you to spit out your Diet Pepsi all over your keyboard (yeah, so has that ever happened?). We will love on it. People will comment on it. Everyone will vote for his or her fave, then we’ll love on it some more.
Facebook and Twitter are the kings, The Bloggess is the queen, I am a mere peasant who happens to have an extra loaf of bread as you pass through my part of the woods on your travels. Actually I am the ant carrying the crumbs dropped from the peasants’ bread loaf, but crumbs are yummy if it’s sweetbread, and no one disputes that.
